Hi! We are Habibi & Amadu, and our passion for music comes from our multicultural roots.

We are Habibi & Amadu, known as  the „HABAMA BROTHERS“ from Berlin—not only talented percussionists but also innovative producers and DJs making waves in the global music scene. Thanks to our father, Uhuru, we discovered our love for music early on. We inherited our talent from him, as Uhuru has been teaching Djembé, repairing, and selling these instruments for more than forty years (afrorhythmus.de). With a multicultural background from Germany, Côte d’Ivoire, and Mali, we draw from a diverse range of sound sources. Since 2001, we have been performing together, bringing fresh energy to stages worldwide with our unique blend of Afro, Deep, Latin, and Tech House. Over the last ten years, we have gathered unforgettable experiences in countries like Morocco, Spain, Greece, the United Arab Emirates, and France. Our impressive performances at prestigious venues such as Lío in Ibiza, Cavo Dubai, Toyroom Mykonos, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 have made us highly sought-after artists.

What makes our shows special is the fusion of DJ sets with live performances. Using a variety of percussion instruments—including the djembe, conga, electronic pads, and steel drum—we create an irresistible urge to dance that electrifies the audience. Our music is not just a treat for the ears; it’s an experience for the soul.
